Due to traffic congestion on Emerald/Construction Route 42 could be delayed

Friday July 31 and Saturday August 1st the Route 29 will be on Detour starting at 1pm. Inbound to MSS will from Protest, forward onto Beacon, left onto Broadway, where the bus will service the stop at Broadway and University far side. Outbound from MSS will be forward on Main St, right on Broadway, servicing the stop at Broadway and University, turning right on Beacon, and continuing up Protest. All stops on University, Capitol, and 9th street for the route 29 will be inaccessible at this time.

Route 29 Stops at Overland & Owyhee on both sides have been closed and temp stops placed on each side, far side of the intersection.

Route 28 is on small detour at Frank Church High School; The stop on Pro Tech and Salt Creek SEC is closed, we have a temp stop placed crossed the road on Pro Tech and Salt Creek SWC.

Access Paratransit

Access is a paratransit transportation service operated by Valley Regional Transit through the tax support of local municipalities. Designed to complement the fixed-route bus system, this service is available to people who are unable to utilize the fixed-route or on-demand bus systems because of a disability. Eligibility may be limited on a conditional basis, and each trip can be reviewed.

All Access vehicles can accommodate wheelchairs. All stations are equipped to serve every member of our population. 

  • Pickup and drop-off locations for Access service will be within three-fourths of a mile of fixed-route service.
  • Service is by reservation only. Trips may be booked up to 14 days in advance, but no later than 5:00 p.m., for service the next operating day.
  • All Access passengers must keep their certification current and re-apply when their certification expires.
  • Once approved, Access fares are $3 per one-way trip for each passenger and for each guest. A personal care attendant may ride for free.
